Vatrouska
Vatrouska is a Russian version of a cheesecake. It is not quite as rich. It tastes like a mix between custard and a cheese cake. Yum Yum.
This is another recipe made by my mother-in-law. Also see the Piroshkis.
2 pie shells from Graham crackers
Filling:
1 pound cottage cheese
4 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
Blend ingredients in food processor or blender. Fill
pie shells and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or
until filling is done. Serve cold.
