Hummus
This is a really good basic Hummas recipe. I think it is the fresh lemon juice that really makes this dish.
Pair this up with the other Greek and Mediterranean dishes. I made this dish with a Baba Ghanoush, a Greek salad, lot of pita bread (spayed with olive oil and garlic salt than cooked on the grill) and some grilled chicken (marinated in lemon juice, a little olive oil and Greek spices) when we had our friend Brian over for dinner. What a feast.
Should serve 6 as a side dish or appetizer.
2 cups cooked chick-peas (1 16oz can)
4 tbsp tahini (ground sesame seeds)
3 tbsp warm water
4 tbsp olive oil
Juice of 2 large lemons
3 cloves of garlic
2 tsp salt
2 tsp cumin
fresh ground pepper
Combine in a food processor. Blend till smooth. Serve with pita bread.

This looks delicious! I love hummus and will try your recipe.
Why does it look gray?
It may be the picture. It does not look that grey to me, but it was light brown when I ate it.
This recipe has a little TOO much lemon for my taste, although some extra salt kills the lemon taste some. That Kevin guy is hot although his expression looks like a serial killer. But he cooks so that's ok.
Very funny anonymous (Kalani)
